MATHS IS FANTASTIC!

How to get the best out of you and your maths students.

About the course
Wednesday 21st November 2008 – MATHS IS FANTASTIC! Workshop day on active learning techniques, different learning styles, enhancing the learning environment, developing a facilitative style of learning and how to adapt this into the maths environment.

Dec/Jan or Feb/Mar – Twilight sessions. Delegates will have the opportunity to invite me into where they work to run a twilight session cascading the strategies they have acquired from 21st November and discussing subsequent work they have done in the classroom.

Wednesday 6th February2008 - MATHS IS FANTASTIC! The morning will concentrate on developments made since 21st November. The afternoon session will be a workshop session on ‘Motivating Reluctant Learners’
